Opportunities for Businesses

If you are a local (East Jefferson County, WA) entrepreneur, either for-profit or nonprofit, then LION members may be interested in learning more about you, your business, and any business opportunities you currently have. LION, the Local Investment Opportunities Network, has a process for introducing you and your business opportunity to LION members – a Business Opportunity Submission Form.

EDC Team Jefferson (services@edcteamjefferson.org), the local Economic Development Council, administers the distribution of Opportunity forms to LION members. EDC Team Jefferson assists entrepreneurs and businesses and, if you wish, can help you prepare an effective LION Business Opportunity Submission Form.

If you are considering submitting an Opportunity Form, we suggest that you review "Expectations for a LION Business Opportunity Presentation." It will help you understand what LION members are looking for when investing locally and how to focus your Opportunity Form descriptions. We also ask that you read the preamble of theBusiness Opportunity Submission Form, as it will alert you to the securities regulations that govern LION member investments and tell you where to find more information about those regulations.

When you are ready, you may complete the fillable pdf Business Opportunity Submission Form and email it to lion.opportunity@L2020.org or mail it to the address provided in the form.
